About the role
In this position, you will be part of the accounting department, directly reporting to the Accounting Manager. As a supplier accounting assistant on a fixed-term contract, your primary responsibilities will include managing and tracking supplier invoices, verifying supporting documents, and recording invoices. You will also assist in preparing payments and contribute to accounting closures. Ensuring data quality, you will be responsible for adhering to procedures, payment deadlines, and maintaining positive supplier relationships.

What you'll do
- Process and monitor supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify all supporting documentation for invoices to confirm validity.
- Record invoices in the accounting system accurately and promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of payment runs and ensure compliance with payment schedules.
- Contribute to the monthly and annual accounting closures by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and accuracy throughout the accounting processes.
- Ensure adherence to established procedures and timelines for all accounting tasks.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and resolve any discrepancies.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and share insights on best practices.
- Support the Accounting Manager in various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements
- A minimum of one year of professional experience in a general accounting role is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong preference for teamwork.
- A service-oriented mindset with a desire to contribute to meaningful projects.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Nice to have
- Experience in supplier accounting or accounts payable processes.
- Familiarity with French accounting regulations and practices.
- Knowledge of ERP systems used in accounting.
- Additional language skills, particularly in English, would be advantageous.

- This is a fixed-term contract position available from October 2026 to March 2027.
