About the role

What you'll do
- Design and establish intake routines for all incoming financial documents related to client operations to ensure a smooth and error-free workflow.
- Construct accurate journal entries and generate detailed financial reports using ERP systems to support transparent and real-time financial visibility.
- Review detailed account movements meticulously to confirm alignment with original invoices and sales data, identifying discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate the shipment and escalation of billing inquiries to specialized external teams to resolve complex issues efficiently and maintain client satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain partner data standards in close collaboration with finance stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance across all client interactions.
- Maintain detailed reconciliation logs for all client-related transactions to guarantee audit readiness and provide clear traceability at all times.
- Implement and manage filing structures for archived accounting records in strict compliance with legal retention policies and internal governance standards.
- Provide organized documentation in support of internal and external audit preparation, demonstrating full transparency and control over financial processes.
- Track currency fluctuations and their financial impact on cross-border client invoices and settlements to mitigate risks and optimize revenue recognition.
- Update process maps for billing steps, identifying control points, and proposing improvements for operational efficiency to drive continuous enhancement.
- Ensure all financial documentation follows standardized procedures to minimize errors and streamline the approval process across teams.
- Act as the primary contact for client accounting queries, delivering clear and professional responses that reinforce trust and reliability.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to billing accuracy and processing times to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align billing operations with sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives.
Requirements
- Hold a recognized accountant certification or a similar professional qualification that demonstrates a strong foundation in financial principles.
- Bring three to five years of demonstrable experience in client finance or accounting roles to ensure a solid understanding of complex billing environments.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of French tax regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements to maintain full legal compliance.
- Exhibit high proficiency in the use of spreadsheet applications and specialized financial software to handle data efficiently and accurately.
- Fluency in the French language is essential, with strong written communication skills for professional correspondence, reporting, and stakeholder interactions.
- Proven ability to work independently with strong self-management skills while juggling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
