About the role
In the financing department located in La Madeleine (59), you will play a pivotal role in real estate projects that significantly contribute to the transformation of local communities. Acting as a vital partner to operational teams, you will be instrumental in establishing and monitoring the necessary funding for the successful execution of real estate programs.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Evaluate financing applications submitted by subsidiaries and assess the financial needs related to real estate development projects.
- Engage in consultations and negotiations with banking institutions to secure funding terms, collaborating with partners as necessary.
- Initiate capital calls from partners and ensure the implementation of necessary actions to finance operations effectively.
- Monitor financial commitments, update credit terms (extensions, early withdrawals), and track mobilized equity.
- Oversee and archive Financial Completion Guarantees (GFA) in collaboration with subsidiaries and various stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports to banks, accounting teams, and treasury departments to ensure the accuracy of information.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, innovation, and sustainable impact in service to our communities.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness in project financing and execution.
Requirements
- A higher education degree in finance, management, or real estate, with a proven track record in financing real estate operations, banking, or corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of financing mechanisms and a keen interest in the real estate sector.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Recognized for analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and strong negotiation capabilities.
- Comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders and enjoys teamwork.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with decision-making tools (BO/BI) or financial management applications is a plus.
- Driven by a service-oriented mindset, results-oriented approach, and a desire to contribute to projects with significant community value.
