Marketing Operations Lead
Job description
Marketing Operations Lead at Nex Health.
About the role
Nex Health is modernizing a healthcare ecosystem that is still dominated by legacy systems and manual processes. In this role, you own the infrastructure that connects patient demand with provider workflows. You are responsible for the systems, data integrity, and operating rhythm that turn marketing activity into a reliable pipeline. The focus is on making the funnel accurate, trustworthy, and scalable across thousands of providers and developers. You will work directly with the Head of Growth, translating campaign activity into structured pipeline while maintaining strict standards for routing, hygiene, and lifecycle tracking. This is a hands-on leadership position where you build durable foundations rather than only executing tactics.
Key facts
What you will do
You will configure HubSpot as the central marketing stack, designing workflows, lifecycle stages, and integrations that balance power with reliability. You will architect the end-to-end lead journey, ensuring that every touchpoint from first click to closed referral is mapped, governed, and continuously refined. Your work ensures that lead routing and scoring models move opportunities quickly while keeping handoffs between Marketing and Sales accurate and predictable. You will establish database governance, maintaining hygiene, segmentation, and sync integrity across the tech stack. This includes building segmentation, nurture paths, and lifecycle tracking that protect email deliverability while enabling reliable campaign execution and reporting. You will implement robust data standards and validation rules that prevent noise from entering the system and ensure every record remains trustworthy over time. Measurement and attribution are core responsibilities. You will set up conversion tracking and dashboards that remove ambiguity in performance, allowing leadership to make decisions based on data rather than assumptions. You will also create intake, QA, and launch processes that allow campaigns to ship quickly without creating technical debt or requiring constant fixes. Instead of relying on ad hoc testing, you will run a structured experimentation program with clear ROI and budget accountability, documenting outcomes as reusable playbooks. You will also operate the marketing rhythm, including planning, reporting, and retros, aligning timing and expectations across channels. Partnership with Sales Operations is another critical area. You will collaborate on funnel definitions, SLAs, and CRM synchronization to ensure marketing and sales are aligned around shared outcomes and transparent handoffs. You will serve as the operational backbone for the marketing team, enabling product and sales teams to move fast without sacrificing accuracy or compliance. You will translate messy, real-world feedback from providers and developers into clean system configurations that scale. You will act as a systems thinker, spotting weak links in the funnel and strengthening them before they impact growth.
Requirements
You bring five or more years of marketing operations experience in high-growth B2B SaaS companies, where systems must scale rapidly without losing accuracy. You have advanced, hands-on experience with HubSpot, including architecture, configuration, and administration at scale. You build operational strength through systems and automation rather than adding headcount. You are capable of writing your own queries and answering end-to-end reporting questions without waiting for a data team. You turn marketer and seller frustrations into process improvements while maintaining trust and exercising high emotional intelligence. You have shipped AI work, such as a script, agent, or workflow, that removed repetitive tasks from a team and delivered measurable efficiency gains. You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and documentation must keep pace with execution. You understand the importance of compliance, privacy, and data security in a healthcare-adjacent context and apply that judgment in your daily work. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex system behavior into actionable steps. You take ownership of on-call operational responsibilities, responding to incidents that affect tracking, routing, or data quality.
