About the role
You will provide virtual, one-on-one nutrition counseling to adolescent and adult patients navigating eating disorders and a wide range of nutritional concerns or medical conditions, not limited to eating disorders alone. You will practice within a non-diet, weight-inclusive, culturally responsive care model that prioritizes client autonomy and trust. You will deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy and evidence-based interventions that are carefully aligned with the specific needs and goals of each patient. You will document all care clearly and in a timely manner using our secure digital platform to ensure consistency and compliance. You will collaborate closely with therapists, physicians, and other members of the care team to create an integrated, patient-led treatment experience. You will actively contribute to a strong referral network that supports a positive reputation in the community and enhances our collective impact. You will participate in team meetings, consult groups, and ongoing professional development opportunities to deepen your expertise. You will maintain a private, secure remote workspace and ensure you have reliable high-speed internet to support high-quality care delivery.

What you'll do
- Provide virtual, one-on-one nutrition counseling to adolescent and/or adult patients with eating disorders and various nutritional concerns or medical conditions (not limited to eating disorders).
- Practice within a non-diet, weight-inclusive, culturally responsive care model that honors body diversity and equity.
- Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and evidence-based interventions aligned with each patient's needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
- Document care clearly and on time using our secure digital platform to maintain high standards of clinical accuracy and continuity.
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other care team members for integrated, patient-led treatment that coordinates across disciplines.
- Contribute to a strong referral network and actively build a positive reputation in the community through consistent, high-quality care.
- Participate in team meetings, consult groups, and professional development opportunities to continue learning and improving your practice.
- Maintain a private, secure remote workspace with reliable high-speed internet to support effective and uninterrupted sessions.
Requirements
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with current standing in your practice scope.
- Bring 4+ years of eating disorder experience at any level of care, or 2+ years of outpatient nutrition counseling if eating disorder experience is not your primary focus.

- Demonstrate a committed to trauma-informed, equity-centered care in every interaction with patients and colleagues.
- Show the ability to see a wide variety of nutritional concerns, diseases, and conditions with cultural humility and clinical confidence.
- Maintain current licensure or eligibility to practice as a dietitian in your state or jurisdiction, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, and adherence to professional standards in all areas of practice.
Nice to have
- Licensed or certified as a Registered Dietitian in states such as WA, OR, TX, or NY, where applicable to remote practice regulations.
- Accumulate 3 years of outpatient eating disorder experience across diverse treatment settings and patient needs.
- Fluency in foreign languages, with Spanish preferred to better serve a broader range of patients.
- Confidently treat minors and adolescents, including experience with family-based approaches and developmental considerations.
- Hold or actively work toward the CEDS or CEDS-C credential to demonstrate specialized expertise in eating disorders.
- Obtain certification in Intuitive Eating, Body Trust, or similar approaches that align with our weight-inclusive model.
- Earn certification in Inclusive Eating Disorder Education Specialist (IEDES) or engage in comparable advanced training.
- Gain direct experience with adolescent and pediatric populations, including nuanced communication and care strategies.
- Build familiarity with ACT, motivational interviewing, or somatic modalities to enrich your therapeutic toolkit.
- Demonstrate confidence providing outpatient nutrition counseling in a fully remote setting, with strong virtual communication skills.

One honest heads up: most of our patients come to us for eating disorder support, so a schedule without ED patients can take longer to fill.
What we offer
- Competitive pay starting at $43 -55/hr for billable time and $25/hr for administrative time.
