You'll develop and generate the reports and analyses leaders rely on, and help manage delivery with our offshore development teams. • As a Business Analyst, you'll work hands-on with:</p> <p><strong>Analysis & Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting</li> <li>SQL for querying, data modeling, and ad hoc analysis</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Platform</strong></p> <ul> <li>Snowflake as our cloud data warehouse</li> <li>DBT for modular, version-controlled data transformations</li> <li>Airflow for orchestration and workflow automation</li> <li>Git for version control</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>About Your Team</strong></p> <p>You'll join a small, collaborative team that builds the data, reporting, and analytics systems powering Monticello's real estate finance operations.
• You'll work closely with business stakeholders and our offshore development teams to turn requirements into delivered solutions.
• Each team member owns their solutions, beyond just the technical implementation.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>What you'll own:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partnering with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements</li> <li>Generating ad hoc reports and analyses that answer time-sensitive business questions</li> <li>Writing Python and SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data across the business</li> <li>Taking projects end to end - from business problem through delivered solution</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>You'll also contribute to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Project management support - helping coordinate and manage our offshore development teams to keep delivery on track</li> <li>Automated Data Quality and QC processes that keep reporting accurate and trusted</li> <li>Dashboards and reporting that drive portfolio decisions</li> <li>AI initiatives across the business - including workflow automation, data ingestion, and analysis and insights</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Core:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions</li> <li>Experience generating ad hoc reports and analyses for business stakeholders</li> <li>Strong SQL skills for querying and data modeling</li> <li>Familiar with Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Also valuable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Git for version control</li> <li>DBT for data transformations</li> <li>Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse</li> <li>Working with offshore or distributed development teams</li> <li>Airflow or other orchestration tools</li> <li>LLMs for effective coding and productivity</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We welcome applicants from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds.
