The position is based in a remote capacity located in South Africa, operating within a standard business schedule of eight hours per day, five days per week, aligned with Monday through Friday. Due to the international scope of Lyra's operations, the selected individual must demonstrate flexibility to participate in meetings outside of conventional local business hours to support global teams and client requirements.
Core Responsibilities
The role encompasses the complete lifecycle of data projects, from initial requirement gathering to final deployment. You will design structured intake procedures that accurately capture business needs, cleanse incoming data, and establish governance rules that govern the progression of dashboard development. This involves shaping dbt models to ensure data tables reflect care quality objectives, thereby enabling analysts to access reliable and consistent views. You will create visualizations in Tableau or Sigma that simplify complex data joins into straightforward, easily understood narratives for decision-makers.
A critical function is the oversight of data quality reviews, implementing checks and validations to guarantee metric precision prior to public dissemination. You will collaborate closely with engineering partners to facilitate the migration of existing cubes into the Snowflake environment, focusing on enhancing processing speed and system reliability. Building strategic partnerships with product teams is essential to ensure that dashboard initiatives remain synchronized with broader product roadmaps and strategic goals. Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess a minimum of three to five years of professional experience analyzing data within corporate or enterprise environments. The candidate must be capable of adhering to a fixed working schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, based on South African time zones.
