Salary: $136,000 - $184,000 USD (Total Target Cash Compensation, includes base and variable pay)
Team: Accounting What you'll do
- Manage the monthly revenue close process, including flux analysis, deferred revenue review, renewals reconciliation, and system reconciliations.
- Research and document accounting positions for complex, non-routine transactions like contract changes, variable consideration, new products, and warrant entries.
- Prepare and review quarterly stock-based compensation accounting, covering journal entries, disclosures, and variance analysis.
- Produce group financial statements, including consolidation and entity-level reports for lender compliance.
- Develop, maintain, and update the ASC 606 revenue recognition policy memo and related playbook to reflect business and product changes.
- Advise cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, Product) on the accounting implications of business decisions, contract structures, and new market offerings.
- Serve as the main contact for external auditors regarding revenue and equity matters, managing PBCs and audit readiness.
- Simplify complex technical accounting concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-accounting stakeholders and leadership.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance technical research, memo drafting, and close process improvements.
- Support SOX-readiness by maintaining controls and documentation for all assigned workstreams.
- Contribute to special projects, system upgrades, and ad hoc analyses as the company expands. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant technical accounting work.
- Background in Big 4 or public accounting audit.
- Extensive knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition, including multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, SSP analysis, and contract modifications.
- Experience with stock-based compensation accounting (ASC 718) and equity administration workflows.
- Practical experience preparing or reviewing consolidated financial statements.
- Demonstrated ability to research and apply FASB ASC guidance, evaluate complex accounting issues, and document well-supported positions clearly.
- Strong Excel skills, capable of managing and reconciling large datasets across multiple systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex accounting concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Nice to have

- Familiarity with Blackline or similar close management tools.
