Sales, Enterprise - Chicago
Job description
About the role
You will own the full enterprise sales cycle within your assigned territory, acting as the primary revenue generator for Meter in the United States. You will rapidly assimilate Meter's technical platform and communicate its value to complex IT organizations, positioning it as a necessary upgrade over brittle legacy infrastructure. This role demands that you independently manage every stage of the deal, from initial discovery to contract signature, ensuring the solution aligns with intricate network, security, and operational requirements. You will serve as the main external advocate for the customer, translating business needs back to internal teams to ensure solution fit and long-term satisfaction. Success in this position hinges on your ability to build trust with high-level stakeholders, navigate enterprise procurement processes, and consistently close deals that drive significant recurring revenue. You are expected to challenge the status quo and displace existing vendor relationships by demonstrating the superior reliability and performance of Meter's vertically-integrated solution. Ultimately, you will be a key driver in establishing Meter as the standard infrastructure provider for large US enterprises.
