About the role

The plays a crucial leadership role within our clinical team, serving as a mentor, supervisor, and clinical expert. This position is designed for an experienced BCBA who is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to children with autism and other special needs. The Senior BCBA will oversee clinical programming, support team development, and ensure that all services meet organizational standards and best practices. You will be responsible for maintaining clinical excellence, guiding less experienced BCBAs, and contributing to a positive, engaging work environment that emphasizes growth, collaboration, and fun. What you'll do

• Conduct initial assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to determine client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain a caseload of clients, providing direct supervision and support to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans.
• Review clinical programming, assessment documentation, and progress notes to ensure they meet quality standards and organizational policies.
• Offer ongoing coaching, feedback, and supervision to BCBAs and clinical staff to promote professional growth and clinical excellence.
• Support the clinical team in meeting organizational and clinical metrics, including supervision requirements and client progress goals.
• Participate in monthly leadership development and training sessions designed to enhance communication, feedback skills, and leadership capabilities.
• Assist the Site Director or step in during their absence, helping to manage clinic operations and team coordination.
• Support parent training sessions, providing one-hour monthly training to parents and caregivers to promote generalization and carryover of skills.
• Observe client sessions and provide constructive feedback to BCBAs to improve client progress and ensure fidelity to treatment protocols.
• Manage clinic crises as they arise, coordinating with team members to resolve issues promptly and maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Ensure compliance with BACB standards, organizational policies, and legal requirements, including ITAR regulations if applicable.
• Foster a collaborative, positive, and engaging team culture that values professionalism, fun, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Speech, OT, and ABA to provide comprehensive care tailored to each child's needs.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and clinical research efforts to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain documentation and records accurately, supporting billing, reporting, and compliance audits.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members, sharing expertise and organizational knowledge.
• Engage in community outreach and partnership development to expand the organization's impact and service offerings.

Requirements

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience working as a Clinical Supervisor or BCBA, with demonstrated leadership skills (external applicants).
• Minimum of 1 year of post-certification experience as a Clinical Supervisor or BCBA within MEBE or similar organization (internal applicants).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members, families, and external partners.
• Ability to pass a Background Criminal Investigation to ensure safety and compliance.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality clinical services.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing organizational needs.
• Passion for clinical excellence, continuous learning, and making a positive impact on children's lives.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for children with autism and related developmental disabilities.
• Experience with clinical documentation, assessment tools, and treatment planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting including Speech, OT, and ABA.
• Prior leadership or supervisory roles in clinical settings.
• Familiarity with organizational policies related to ITAR or other regulatory standards.
• Knowledge of current research and best practices in behavior analysis and autism intervention.
• Experience with clinical data collection and analysis to inform treatment adjustments.
