What you'll do

• Lead the development and implementation of project control systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to establish project scopes, timelines, and budgets, ensuring clarity and alignment across all stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate risk management processes, identifying potential project risks and developing strategies to mitigate them effectively.

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the pharmaceutical sector, ensuring that project controls remain compliant and relevant.

• Support the integration of advanced project management software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls or project management within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on project performance metrics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools) and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to pharmaceutical project management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies or Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Familiarity with financial management and budgeting processes in a project context.
• Previous experience in a global pharmaceutical company or with cross-border projects.
• Understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory submission requirements.
