What you'll do
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using advanced scheduling software, ensuring all tasks, milestones, and deadlines are accurately represented.
- Collaborate with project managers and team leads to gather project requirements and define scope, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and gathering feedback to refine schedules as necessary.
- Analyze project data to forecast future performance and resource needs, helping to optimize project execution.
- Create and maintain detailed reports on project schedules, including variance analysis and trend reporting to inform decision-making.

- Assist in risk management by identifying potential scheduling risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines.

- Engage with external stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to communicate project timelines and expectations clearly.
- Utilize project management software tools to enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that all team members have access to up-to-date information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within the construction, engineering, or manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in risk management and the ability to develop strategies to mitigate scheduling risks.
- Knowledge of contract management and procurement processes is a plus.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile project management principles and methodologies.
