What you'll do

• Design and develop civil engineering plans and specifications for projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability and identify potential challenges.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation, including calculations, drawings, and project proposals.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee construction activities, providing technical guidance and support to contractors and field personnel.
• Perform quality control inspections and assessments to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.

Nice to have
