About the role
In the Human Resources Department of Forvis Mazars, specifically within the "Legal and Personnel Administration" team, you will act as a key partner for HR teams, managers, and the executive team on various labor law issues. Key facts
What you'll do
- Provide expert legal advice and support to HR teams and managers on both individual and collective labor law matters, including employee relations, disciplinary procedures, contract terminations, and sensitive situation management.
- Manage complex and high-stakes cases by delivering secure legal analyses while considering operational constraints and human factors.
- Actively participate in social relations by assisting in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc consultations with employee representative bodies and in the negotiation of collective agreements.
- Draft and secure all legal and social documentation, including collective agreements, legal notes, internal policies, correspondence, and other HR-related documents.
- Lead awareness and training sessions for HR teams and managers to disseminate best practices and strengthen the legal culture within the organization.
- Conduct proactive social and regulatory monitoring, analyzing the impacts of legislative, jurisprudential, and conventional changes, and support their implementation within the organization.
- Contribute to strategic HR and transformation projects by providing your legal expertise on process, tool, and practice evolution within the company.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business decision-making processes.
- Foster a collaborative environment by building trust-based relationships with colleagues across different levels of responsibility.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in labor law to ensure that the organization remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in labor law or a related field is essential.
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in a legal department, human resources department, law firm, or consulting environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of both individual and collective labor law, with the ability to work independently on a variety of issues, including complex or sensitive situations.
- Demonstrated legal rigor and the ability to adopt a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Comfortable advising stakeholders at various levels of responsibility, with a focus on operational realities.
- Exceptional analytical skills, discernment, and interpersonal intelligence to navigate high-stakes situations effectively.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal topics and provide clear, impactful support to teams.
- A proactive, curious, and engaged mindset, with a desire to contribute actively to the security and transformation of HR practices in a dynamic firm.
Nice to have
- Experience in a large international organization or consulting firm.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Additional certifications in HR or labor law.
- Fluency in English or other languages besides French.
- Previous experience in training or coaching roles within HR.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with HR management software and legal research tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
