About the role
Match Group is on the lookout for a seasoned strategic advisor to enhance leadership effectiveness within the E&E Vancouver Studio. This role involves overseeing people operations and cultural initiatives across various teams, including Plenty of Fish, The League, and Finance. You will play a crucial part in shaping the workplace environment and ensuring that the teams are well-supported in their HR needs.

What you'll do
- Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on matters related to organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent management strategies.
- Oversee performance management cycles, including calibration sessions, succession planning, and annual reviews of compensation packages.
- Address complex employee relations challenges, collaborating closely with the Legal and People Operations teams to find effective resolutions.
- Manage the administration of Canadian employee benefits and oversee essential HRIS processes related to onboarding and offboarding.
- Lead change management initiatives to foster a positive local office culture and support employee engagement.
- Collaborate with internal centers of excellence to implement development and recruitment programs that align with company goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for local employees and visiting staff, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed.
- Analyze workforce trends and metrics to inform strategic decisions and improve overall employee satisfaction and retention.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance leadership capabilities within the organization.
- Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a more equitable workplace.
- Monitor compliance with labor laws and company policies, ensuring that all practices are up to date and effective.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on HR metrics and initiatives, highlighting areas for improvement and success stories.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in human resources or as a People Business Partner, demonstrating a solid career trajectory.
- Proven experience in supporting product, technology, or rapidly growing business environments, showcasing adaptability and innovation.
- Strong coaching skills with the ability to influence and guide executives and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- In-depth understanding of performance management processes, compensation structures, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in handling sensitive employee relations matters, including high-risk terminations, with discretion and professionalism.
- Willingness to work from the Vancouver office three days a week, specifically from Tuesday to Thursday, to foster in-person collaboration.

- Familiarity with HR technology platforms such as Workday, Jira, and Monday.com, which can enhance operational efficiency.
- Experience with employee engagement tools like CultureAmp to drive initiatives that improve workplace satisfaction.
