What you'll do

• Lead and manage BMS projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, and deliverables, and communicate these plans effectively to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and installation, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, schedules, and financial records, to track project performance and compliance.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance collaboration and project success.
• Mentor and guide junior project team members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the BMS or building services sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results.
• Strong understanding of BMS technologies, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or similar applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in project management.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with software programming related to BMS systems.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and sustainable building practices.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role, particularly in a consultancy capacity.
• Familiarity with contract management and negotiation processes.
