Social Media Producer & Editor
Job description
About the role
We are looking for a Social Media Producer to be the hands-on engine behind our YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram channels. This role owns the process of turning raw creator content and real-world moments into polished, publishable social content. You will be responsible for owning the calendar that ensures consistent publishing and timely delivery across platforms. This is not a management position, so there is no team to supervise or direct. Instead, you will work closely with marketing leadership to understand priorities and volume, then execute the work end to end. The ideal hire thinks like a producer, considering the final output while capturing raw material in the field.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Edit and repurpose long-form creator content into short-form social assets, such as turning a 20-minute animation into a punchy 1-minute clip for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Own and execute the monthly content calendar across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, ensuring no dropped posts and no missed dates.
- Build and maintain a working rhythm with marketing leadership to align on content volume, direction, and priorities.
- Get up to speed quickly on FlipaClip's content channels, brand voice, and existing creator relationships during the first 30 days.
- Reliably repurpose long-form creator content into short-form assets across platforms by the 90-day mark without heavy oversight.
- Demonstrate editing range while developing skills in illustration, animation, or basic photography and videography.
- Cover at least one live event, expo, or creator meetup by six months, producing usable content from the ground.
- Be the default owner of day-to-day content execution across all three channels by the six-month mark.
- Anticipate content needs proactively rather than waiting for direction on every asset.
- Maintain a track record of turning raw creator submissions into content that performs well on social platforms.
- Travel internationally as needed to cover events, sometimes on short notice, and produce assets from the trip.
- Stay current on trends and formats across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Work from creative direction and volume targets set by marketing leadership without needing detailed task management.
- Bring a producer mindset that balances capturing raw material while thinking about the final output at every stage.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience editing and producing short-form video content specifically for social platforms.
- Highly organized and self-sufficient, comfortable owning a content calendar with zero day-to-day management.
- Comfortable working behind the camera in live or field settings such as events, expos, and meetups.
- Able and willing to travel internationally, including on short notice, to support content needs.
- Possess a valid passport with no visa restrictions that would block travel to major markets, with flexibility confirmed case by case.
- Proficient in written and spoken C1/C2 English to communicate effectively and produce accurate copy.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a remote, distributed team structure.
- Familiarity with animation, creator, or gaming communities is strongly preferred and relevant to the brand.
- Prior experience in a producer, coordinator, or generalist content role rather than a specialist editor-only background.
- Basic photography or videography experience beyond editing is a significant advantage.
- Native or advanced illustration or animation skills are highly preferred due to the animation-first nature of the brand.
Nice to have
- Illustration or animation skills that align with the animation-first identity of the brand.
- Basic photography and videography experience outside of editing tasks.
- Familiarity with creator communities, animation spaces, or gaming ecosystems.
- Previous background in producer, coordinator, or generalist content roles with broad responsibilities.
Practical notes
This is a full-time remote position open across Latin America with a focus on Brazil-based talent. The role expects periodic international travel to cover events, and visa flexibility is a real requirement rather than a preference. Candidates must be able to travel on short notice when event coverage demands it. The engagement is full-time, and the compensation structure follows company policy as outlined in internal guidelines.
