Latamcent is seeking a Procurement Expert to join our SpendHound division, where you will oversee software renewals and purchasing processes for our clients. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, helping businesses enhance their software portfolios while minimizing costs. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding clients through the complexities of procurement, ensuring they achieve optimal value from their investments.

What you'll do
- Assist clients throughout the entire software purchasing and renewal process, ensuring a experience.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to establish and meet their procurement objectives effectively.
- Deliver timely updates regarding upcoming software renewals and suggest strategies for improving contract terms.
- Work in partnership with the Customer Success team to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to continuously improve and adapt the SpendHound platform to meet client needs.
- Conduct audits of client software environments to identify redundant tools and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
- Analyze client requirements and recommend software solutions that align with their business goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable contract terms on behalf of clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in SaaS procurement to provide informed guidance to clients.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, summarizing procurement strategies and outcomes.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the SpendHound division.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to ensure alignment on client objectives and deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in SaaS sales, procurement technology, or B2B product environments.
- Proven track record as an Account Executive, Account Manager, or Customer Success Manager, particularly in transitioning from sell-side to buy-side roles.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully close or renew software contracts, showcasing negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the SaaS industry and its dynamics.
- Proficiency in analyzing contract details and forecasting future cost implications.
- Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to maintaining process-driven workflows.
- A consultative mindset when building and nurturing client relationships.
- High emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and the capacity for empathy in client interactions.
- Experience in creating processes from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with marketing, support, and design tools such as HubSpot, Zendesk, and Figma.
- Experience in contract analysis and financial modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of SaaS procurement strategies and negotiation tactics.
- Previous involvement in a startup culture or similar fast-paced work environment.
- Understanding of market research methodologies and data analysis.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in using various marketing, support, and design software, including HubSpot, Zendesk, and Figma.
- Skilled in contract analysis and financial modeling to assess procurement decisions.
- Familiar with SaaS procurement processes and negotiation strategies to optimize client outcomes.
