What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of lining operatives, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to specification.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during the lining process, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly maintained and utilized, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
- Promote a safety-first culture within the team, conducting regular safety briefings and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.

Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the lining or construction industry, ideally with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of lining techniques, materials, and equipment used in infrastructure projects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools to track progress and manage resources.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
