What you'll do
- Perform regular maintenance of grounds, including mowing, trimming, and landscaping to ensure a tidy and professional appearance.
- Operate and maintain various groundskeeping equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth and conserve water.
- Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify any issues or areas needing attention, reporting findings to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with other team members to execute landscaping projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, in accordance with design plans.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all tasks, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Support the removal of debris, litter, and waste from the grounds to maintain cleanliness and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the area.
- Participate in seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf collection, and other activities as required to keep the grounds accessible and safe.
- Assist in the preparation of grounds for events, ensuring that all areas are clean, well-maintained, and ready for use.

Requirements
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining groundskeeping machinery and tools.

- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license is essential, with the ability to operate company vehicles safely.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to grounds maintenance.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Nice to have
- Certification in horticulture or landscape management would be advantageous.
- Experience with irrigation systems and landscaping design.
- First aid certification is a plus.
