What you'll do

• Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific needs of field operations personnel.
• Conduct training sessions in various formats, including workshops, on-the-job training, and e-learning modules.
• Collaborate with operational managers to assess training needs and develop customized training solutions that address skill gaps.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in training and development, preferably within the utilities or construction sectors, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
• Proficient in using training software and tools, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Ability to analyze data and feedback to measure training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to adapt training strategies to meet evolving needs.

Nice to have

• Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTD, or similar).
• Experience in the utilities or construction industry, particularly in operational roles.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to field operations.
• Knowledge of digital training tools and platforms to enhance remote learning experiences.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is a plus.
