About the role
You will take ownership of the end to end design of digital products by actively participating in every phase of the design thinking process from discovery through delivery. You will translate ambiguous business problems into clear design opportunities by synthesizing user research and business goals into coherent product strategies. You will partner closely with multidisciplinary teams to define, iterate, and advocate for user centered experiences that meet both user needs and business objectives. You will act as the voice of the user within the team while championing design quality, accessibility, and usability standards. You will contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement by questioning assumptions, seeking feedback, and embracing experimentation. You will help shape the future direction of design practices and processes within the Konrad Group. You will mentor junior designers and share knowledge to elevate the overall design maturity of the team.
Key facts
What you'll do
Conduct design thinking workshops to uncover insights and frame problems before moving into ideation and concept development.
Perform user research including interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries to build empathy and inform the direction of digital solutions.
Analyze research findings and synthesize findings into user personas, journey maps, and experience flows that guide design decisions.
Design rich interactive experiences by crafting user flows, wireframes, and high fidelity prototypes in Figma for web, tablet, and mobile products.
Identify opportunities for improvement by evaluating existing user experiences and proposing data informed design solutions.
Collaborate with developers and consultants to validate design feasibility, clarify requirements, and ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Explore emerging technologies and design best practices to build industry leading solutions that exceed client and user expectations.
Maintain an expert eye for typography, visual hierarchy, and interaction details to deliver polished and consistent user interfaces.
Act as an advocate for a culture of lifelong learning by sharing insights, documenting learnings, and encouraging experimentation within the team.
Support the evaluation of design concepts through usability testing and iterate based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
Contribute to the design system by creating reusable components, guidelines, and documentation that enable scalable digital products.
Translate complex business requirements into clear design artifacts that align with technical constraints and product roadmaps.
Participate in scoping and estimation discussions to help the team understand design effort and dependencies.
Present design concepts and rationales to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and buy in.
Requirements
You bring 1 to 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design across digital products or services.
You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and an expert eye for typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy in your work.
You possess strong conceptual thinking abilities and can execute design solutions across both visual and interaction dimensions.
You have great interpersonal skills and can articulate design concepts, rationales, and trade offs clearly to diverse audiences.
You are intimately familiar with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and common prototyping tools used in digital product design.
You maintain an in depth portfolio that showcases your digital projects and is ready to share with potential employers.
You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment and managing multiple design tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality.
You communicate effectively in advanced English and are able to write and speak at a professional level in all work contexts.
Nice to have
Prior experience with motion design, web development, or mobile development is viewed as a bonus that can strengthen your contributions.
