This Data Architect position places you at the center of data strategy and execution for complex initiatives. You will guide model design, establish governance frameworks, and ensure that data initiatives deliver tangible business value. The role requires a blend of technical depth, architectural vision, and clear communication for both technical and business stakeholders.
About the Role
You own data strategy from initial intake through delivery of actionable insight. In this capacity, you will guide model design and governance with logical, coherent frameworks that serve business and technical audiences. You are responsible for designing, overseeing development, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions. As a senior technical voice, you will use deep expertise in data science, system design, and modern data tooling to solve sophisticated problems.

What You'll Do
You will chart pathways for data intake and construct reliable pipelines that power analytics and machine learning. This involves crafting scalable data structures while coordinating closely with engineering teams to align database and warehouse designs. You will define evaluation criteria and run experiments to verify model accuracy, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements. A core responsibility includes shipping data products and dashboards that support decision-making in regulated environments.
You will forge strong partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into robust analytical solutions. Hosting reviews of data quality and governance is essential to uphold standards across all platforms. You will stay fluent with emerging data science tools and methodologies to guide future architectural choices. You will also lead modernization initiatives that transition legacy systems toward cloud-based foundations.
Requirements
You bring five years or more of experience solving complex problems through data science and solution architecture. You possess a strong proficiency in Python and related libraries for building analysis and modeling workflows. A deep understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning methods is mandatory.
You have hands-on experience designing and managing the build-out of cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses, such as Snowflake, Databricks BigQuery, and Redshift. You monitor models throughout deployment and lifecycle stages with attention to detail. Your experience includes working with containers like Docker and building production APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
Clear communication in English is required across all audiences. You must demonstrate the ability to reframe vague business issues into concrete technology plans that gain stakeholder approval. Thriving in agile, consulting, or cross-functional contexts is a core part of this role.
