Associate UX/UI Designer
Job description
About the role
Konrad Group is a next-generation digital consultancy dedicated to solving complex business problems for global clients with creative and forward-thinking solutions. We foster a culture built on innovation and a commitment to creating best-in-class digital products used by hundreds of millions of consumers worldwide. We hire exceptionally smart, analytical, and hardworking people who are lifelong learners. The Associate Experience Designer (UX/UI) role is a critical contribution to this mission, offering the opportunity to shape digital products at scale. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on design execution. You will be expected to mentor peers, seek continuous feedback, and refine your craft within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role directly influences the digital experiences used by a global consumer base.
What you'll do
You will work with design leads to create compelling interactive experiences that bridge design, business, and technology. Your responsibilities will include performing user research and developing information architecture, user goals, journey maps, and design wireframes and visual interfaces. You will collaborate closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect execution across all project deliverables. This involves working with strategy consultants to gain insights into clients' business and project objectives, ensuring design decisions align with measurable outcomes. You will learn the end-to-end process of project delivery and master the associated design tools. Additionally, you will execute high-fidelity prototypes and interactive experiences to communicate design intent and validate concepts with stakeholders and users. The role demands a meticulous attention to detail, particularly regarding typography, visual hierarchy, and layout consistency across mobile, tablet, and web platforms. You will utilize Figma as your primary tool to iterate quickly, maintain design systems, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Participation in the full project delivery lifecycle is essential, as is contributing constructive feedback during critiques.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, you must demonstrate a firm grasp of design fundamentals through a strong portfolio of digital projects that solve real user problems. Meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for typography and visual hierarchy are required. Clear and effective communication skills are necessary to articulate design concepts and rationales to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Figma is mandatory, along with an eagerness to learn new tools, platforms, and methodologies as project needs evolve. A positive attitude and a growth mindset are essential for thriving in a collaborative, inspiring teamwork environment that values mentorship. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you will navigate shifting priorities while maintaining a high standard of output. Proactive and transparent communication ensures alignment between design decisions, business objectives, and technical constraints. Respect for intellectual property, confidentiality, and client commitments must be upheld to contribute to a culture of trust and professionalism.
Perks and Benefits
Konrad offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. These include a Mentorship Program, Comprehensive Health & Wellness Benefits Package, and Retirement Planning. Parental Leave Programs, Flexible Working Hours, and Work from Home Flexibility are also provided. Additional offerings include Service Recognition Programs, Socials, Outings & Retreats, and a Culture of Learning & Development.
Bonus Points
Having taken courses at BrainStation is viewed as a bonus point. Many of the design and development best practices and processes are taught in those programs, so you should highlight this experience in your cover letter if applicable.
