What you'll do

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform business decisions and strategies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with real-time insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions that meet those requirements.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights that drive product development and marketing strategies.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Utilize statistical methods to validate data accuracy and ensure the integrity of analyses.
• Design and implement data models that enhance the organization's ability to forecast and plan effectively.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis and visualization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve analytical processes and tools.
• Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to improve data collection and storage processes.
• Contribute to the development of a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the value of analytics across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role, preferably within the fintech or technology sectors.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, along with experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the fintech industry or familiarity with financial data and metrics.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design methodologies.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices in data governance.
