About the role
Kin is on the lookout for an experienced Licensed Sales Manager to lead and nurture our sales team. This position plays a vital role in broadening our market presence and ensuring that our sales personnel consistently achieve their goals. You will be responsible for mentoring agents, collaborating with various departments, and enhancing our sales methodologies.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Provide coaching, support, and motivation to a team of 12-14 Sales Agents operating within a call center environment.
- Track and ensure that agents meet their performance goals and objectives consistently.
- Analyze sales performance data for both the team and individual agents, providing insights for improvement.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with colleagues across different departments to enhance overall productivity.
- Collaborate with various teams to refine product offerings and improve the customer experience.
- Design and roll out new sales programs and initiatives to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
- Engage in the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new Sales Agents to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role overseeing sales representatives.
- Must possess an active Property and Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines (PL) insurance license.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets and performance metrics.
- In-depth knowledge of the insurance sales cycle, with the capability to train others and optimize internal processes.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making practices.
- A strong commitment to understanding the needs of customers and agents to provide effective solutions.
- Ability to maintain a positive and collaborative attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
Nice to have
- Previous experience working in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Background in the insurance industry, particularly in sales or management roles.

Practical notes
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, with availability required for one of the following shifts: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST or 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST. A rotating Saturday shift will be necessary every 4-6 weeks.
