Khan Academy is seeking a dedicated Sales Enablement Manager to join our District Partnerships team. This critical role involves supporting the growth and effectiveness of our sales efforts within the K-12 education sector. You will be responsible for developing and delivering resources, training programs, and strategic initiatives that empower our sales team to better serve schools and districts across the country. Your work will directly contribute to expanding Khan Academy's reach and impact in the education community by ensuring our sales professionals are well-equipped with the tools, knowledge, and messaging needed to foster meaningful engagement with our educational solutions. What you'll do
- Develop, organize, and maintain a comprehensive library of sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, success stories, competitive analyses, and guides to address common questions and objections from potential clients.
- Design and implement onboarding programs for new sales team members, ensuring they understand Khan Academy's offerings, value propositions, and sales processes.
- Deliver ongoing training sessions, workshops, and resources to support the professional development of the sales team, keeping them informed about product updates and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to ensure that all sales materials are current, accurate, and aligned with the latest messaging, features, and strategic priorities.
- Serve as a central point of contact among sales, marketing, product, and professional learning teams to facilitate effective communication, resource sharing, and coordinated efforts.
- Gather feedback from sales team members regarding the effectiveness of existing materials and training programs, and identify areas for improvement or new content development.
- Support the sales team in understanding and articulating the features, benefits, and differentiators of Khan Academy's solutions to diverse audiences, including district administrators, school leaders, and educators.
- Assist in developing and refining sales strategies and messaging tailored to the needs of districts and schools, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Track and analyze the impact of enablement initiatives, providing reports and insights to leadership to inform future strategies.
- Stay informed about trends, challenges, and competitive activities within the education technology landscape to help position Khan Academy effectively in the market.
- Contribute to the creation of engaging, clear, and persuasive sales content that simplifies complex information for various stakeholders.
- Support the sales team during client meetings, presentations, and negotiations as needed, providing expertise and resources to facilitate successful engagements.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales enablement efforts with broader organizational initiatives and goals.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Khan Academy's mission and educational offerings to ensure all sales messaging reflects our core values and commitment to free, world-class education.
- Assist in the development of metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of enablement programs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative environment by sharing best practices, success stories, and lessons learned with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, instructional design, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of the K-12 education market and familiarity with educational technology providers.
- Proven ability to create compelling, clear, and persuasive sales content, including presentations, guides, and training materials.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.
- A genuine passion for Khan Academy's mission to provide free, high-quality education to learners worldwide.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Experience in educational settings or with EdTech products is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies is a plus.

- The salary range for this role in the United States is $96,800 to $121,000 USD annually; for candidates in Canada, the range is $130,807 to $163,509 CAD annually.
- The actual salary offered will be determined based on internal pay equity, the candidate's experience, and market data.
