About the role
You will own the strategic direction and day-to-day management of a specific portfolio of UK automotive retail accounts, ensuring their long-term success and growth. You will act as the primary strategic advisor and internal advocate for your customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met by the Keyloop ecosystem. You will own the relationship at the executive level, interfacing directly with senior stakeholders at your client organizations to drive alignment and value realization. You will collaborate tightly with a cross-functional pod, translating customer requirements into actionable plans for sales, professional services, and customer success teams. You will leverage data and insights to identify new opportunities for expansion, ensuring that Keyloop solutions evolve with the client's business needs. You will be responsible for the commercial health of your portfolio, focusing on retention, growth, and profitability within your assigned accounts. You will own the end-to-end journey of key accounts, from onboarding and adoption through to renewal and expansion discussions. You will contribute to the overall health of the portfolio by forecasting risks, identifying churn signals, and proactively implementing retention strategies.

What you'll do
Develop and execute strategic account plans for a defined portfolio of top UK automotive retail clients, aligning business objectives with Keyloop solutions.
Champion the customer voice internally, ensuring that product development, professional services, and success initiatives are informed by real client needs and feedback.
Identify and lead cross-sell and upsell opportunities by mapping client usage data and business challenges against the Keyloop platform capabilities.
Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships, positioning Keyloop as a strategic partner rather than just a technology vendor.
Drive adoption and value realization of Keyloop platforms, ensuring clients achieve their desired business outcomes and ROI.
Own the commercial performance of your portfolio, including revenue retention, expansion revenue, and profitability metrics.
Act as the central point of contact for your assigned accounts, coordinating responses to complex inquiries and managing expectations.
Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding, configuration, and integration of Keyloop solutions for clients.
Analyze account health metrics and customer sentiment to predict risks and develop proactive mitigation plans.
Support the development of best practices and success stories from your key accounts to be used in marketing and sales collateral.
Represent client requirements and insights in internal product discussions and roadmap planning sessions.
Manage the end-to-end renewal process, including preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and ensuring a seamless contract extension experience.
Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic workshops, presenting insights and plans that demonstrate clear value delivery to the client.
Build a deep understanding of the automotive retail market landscape, including dealer and manufacturer pressures, to advise clients effectively.
Requirements
You must have a proven track record of managing complex B2B software accounts in a SaaS environment, demonstrating strong commercial acumen.
You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
You must have a strategic mindset, capable of thinking several steps ahead to identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks for your accounts.
You must be highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You must have experience working with data-driven tools and dashboards to monitor account health and identify growth opportunities.
You must have a strong understanding of stakeholder management, including C-level, operational, and technical audiences.
You must demonstrate integrity and the ability to build trust quickly with clients and internal teams alike.
You must have a background in the automotive retail industry or a related sector, providing contextual understanding of dealer and manufacturer challenges.
Nice to have
Experience with automotive retail technology platforms and dealership management systems is highly desirable.
A background in data analysis or business intelligence, enabling you to derive actionable insights from client usage data.
Prior experience in a consultative sales or strategic account management role within the B2B technology sector.
Knowledge of digital transformation trends specific to the automotive retail industry.
Practical notes
This role is based in our Reading office and requires attendance three days per week.
The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Wednesday in the office, with flexibility for remote work on remaining days.
Travel is not required for this role, as the position is focused on portfolio management and client engagement from our primary location.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship, as this is an employee contract role.
This position is not available for remote or hybrid arrangements outside of the UK Reading office.
