Business Recruiter
Job description
About the role
You will own business hiring end to end for Operations and Support teams, becoming the primary owner for all business roles that keep the company running. You will run the full recruitment lifecycle from first conversation to offer, managing multiple roles at once in a fast moving environment. You will build the outbound sourcing pipeline from scratch because Junction is not yet a household name in healthcare tech. You will shape how the company hires by defining the story, setting the bar, and designing the candidate experience for every business role. You will partner closely with hiring managers to clarify needs, build sensible interview plans, and maintain a high bar as we scale quickly. You will treat every candidate with respect, communicate clearly, and provide fast decisions and thoughtful feedback even when the answer is no.
Key facts
What you'll do
Run business hiring end to end for Operations and Support, owning the full cycle from sourcing to offer.
Source like it matters, using outbound as the core channel to consistently build a strong pipeline of healthcare operations talent.
Build our network in the healthcare tech industry, making Junction known through content, community, introductions, events, and creative outreach.
Keep momentum by chasing feedback, unblocking decisions, and ensuring great candidates move quickly through the process.
Partner closely with hiring managers to define needs, design sensible interview plans, and uphold a high bar as we scale.
Treat candidates well with fast processes, clear communications, and respectful rejections that honor their time and expertise.
Tighten how we hire by refining scorecards, calibration, and feedback loops to make good decisions without slowing the business down.
Feed insights back into the process using data on compensation expectations, candidate feedback, where we lose people, and what needs to change.
Own the end-to-end experience for early business roles in a scrappy, early stage healthcare company where roles evolve quickly.
Use judgment to prioritize work when the hiring list is long and roles are poorly defined, especially for new ops and support functions.
Communicate asynchronously in a clear, concise way that keeps people aligned across time zones without unnecessary meetings.
Continuously learn and iterate on sourcing channels, messaging, and processes to improve speed and quality of hire.
Champion fairness and consistency in evaluation so every candidate is assessed against the same high standards.
Collaborate with People & Talent peers to align on strategy, data, and best practices for business hiring across the company.
Maintain a strong talent network that can be activated quickly as new business roles appear or priorities shift.
Requirements
You have startup experience recruiting at an early-stage company with a high bar, especially for business roles like Operations, Support, and G&A.
You operate with high agency, taking ownership, figuring things out, following through, and keeping momentum even when things are ambiguous.
You have full-cycle recruitment experience, able to run hiring processes end-to-end while managing several roles at once.
You prefer a sourcing-first mindset and enjoy outbound work, building pipelines rather than waiting for inbound applications.
You are comfortable hiring for messy, undefined roles, such as a brand-new operations function or a first-of-its-kind support position.
You communicate well in writing and are native to an EST timezone, thriving in an async environment that spans time zones.
You exercise strong judgment, making timely decisions and balancing speed with quality in a fast-growing healthcare startup.
You care deeply about candidate experience and believe every interaction reflects the values of the company.
Nice to have
Experience working in healthcare or health technology environments where data, compliance, and patient impact matter.
Background in building and scaling early hiring functions, including owning processes, tooling, and documentation.
Familiarity with the intersection of healthcare operations and technology, including labs, wearables, and patient-doctor workflows.
Comfort with scrappy, experimental approaches to sourcing and networking when standard channels are not enough.
Practical notes
This is a fully remote role based on US Eastern Standard or Eastern Daylight Time only.
The engagement is full time with a salary range of $130,000 to $180,000 plus equity, reflecting a broad band to account for different levels of skills and experience.
Candidates should expect to move quickly, handle ambiguous situations, and contribute to building the recruiting function from the ground up.
There is no specified travel requirement, and no public visa sponsorship information is provided in the source materials.
Applications should reflect an interest in healthcare data, a bias toward action, and alignment with a fast-scaling, mission-driven team.
