- Partner with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of team dynamics and recruitment goals, aiding in the creation of focused recruiting strategies.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for critical roles, which includes developing innovative sourcing channels, conducting preliminary interviews, and overseeing offer negotiations.
- Engage with candidates to discern their motivations and provide them with the insights necessary to make informed career decisions.
- Ensure a streamlined and efficient candidate experience that leaves a positive impression of IXL Learning, regardless of the hiring outcome.
- Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with high-caliber professionals, establishing a talent community for future hiring requirements.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine recruitment strategies and improve overall hiring effectiveness.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance IXL Learning's visibility in the competitive job market.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor hiring practices.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure alignment between recruitment strategies and organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior recruiters, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Regularly assess and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate satisfaction.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting or a blend of technical and business recruiting.
- Demonstrated ability to source candidates through a variety of strategies and platforms.
- Strong skills in talent assessment, with the ability to align candidates' skills and aspirations with appropriate opportunities.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to shifting priorities; thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
- Exceptional relationship-building capabilities, with clear and authentic communication that fosters trust and alignment.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability in your work.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking systems (ATS) is preferred.
- A genuine interest in the intersection of education and technology, aimed at enhancing learning experiences.

- Previous experience in the EdTech industry.
- Familiarity with additional sourcing tools and platforms.
- Experience in developing and implementing recruitment marketing strategies.

Practical notes
- This role requires you to work from our headquarters located in San Mateo, CA.
- The salary for this full-time position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, with potential eligibility for bonuses and benefits. Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and educational background.
