You will be responsible for adapting video materials to align with British English spelling, grammar, and terminology while preserving the original educational intent. The role requires you to ensure that all content is culturally appropriate and free from US-centrism for UK students. You will work directly with project managers and curriculum designers to maintain consistency across the video library. This position demands a strong understanding of grade-level expectations and teaching conventions specific to the UK education system. You will serve as a quality gatekeeper for the UK edition of our products. The engagement is a six-month remote consulting role for candidates located in the UK.

- Support the creation of a UK-specific video library that reflects the cultural and academic needs of local students.
- Act as an expert resource for the team on UK math education standards and localization best practices.

Requirements
- Hold a BA/BS degree in a relevant field and possess prior experience in a role that involved content review or curriculum alignment.
- Demonstrate impeccable knowledge of British English linguistic conventions, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Show a strong understanding of UK culture, customs, and societal norms to ensure cultural appropriateness in content.
- Exhibit familiarity with working from style manuals and guides, such as The Chicago Manual of Style, to maintain consistency.
- Bring experience as a math teacher within the UK education system, either at the primary or secondary school level.
- Possess extensive knowledge of UK pedagogy and teaching methodologies used in classrooms across the country.
- Have a clear understanding of students' reading and knowledge levels across both primary and secondary school stages.
- Communicate effectively through written and verbal exchanges with team members and stakeholders.
- Meet strict deadlines and demonstrate efficiency and organization when managing a queue of video review assignments.
