Educational Sales Consultant, Southeast Michigan
Job description
About the role
IXL Learning is actively searching for a seasoned field sales professional to spearhead the expansion of our K-12 platforms across the dynamic markets of Southeast Michigan. In this capacity, the successful candidate will take full ownership of managing the complete sales lifecycle for both the IXL and Rosetta Stone product suites, ensuring strategic alignment with district objectives. The position demands the creation of original, data-informed strategies designed to forge deep connections with educators and administrators on the ground. You will be responsible for balancing high-level relationship management with a hands-on, creative approach that consistently drives growth and exceeds performance targets. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a remote-first environment but is prepared to invest significant effort in building trust through in-person interactions. Success will be defined by your ability to translate complex platform capabilities into clear value propositions for schools. You will act as a key growth driver, directly influencing adoption rates and long-term customer loyalty in a competitive landscape. The individual in this role must be comfortable operating with autonomy while maintaining rigorous standards for execution and follow-through.
