About the role
IXL Learning is seeking a District Partnership Specialist to enhance our Professional Learning team, specifically targeting school districts throughout Oklahoma. This position is centered on facilitating the effective implementation of our educational solutions, ensuring they align with the unique objectives of each district. You will collaborate closely with educational leaders, providing essential professional development and tracking progress to improve student outcomes.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the implementation of IXL's educational platform, assisting large school districts in effectively integrating our resources.
- Partner with district leaders to create and implement a professional development strategy that aligns with their educational goals and needs.
- Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including district administrators, school principals, and teachers, to ensure a smooth implementation process.
- Travel throughout Oklahoma approximately 40% to 60% of the time to deliver professional development sessions, engage with district and school leaders, and provide in-classroom support.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to foster and grow customer relationships, including supporting districts during pilot programs and pre-sales discussions.
- Facilitate engaging live and virtual professional development workshops to encourage the effective use of IXL's resources.
- Utilize data analysis to guide decision-making processes and outline subsequent steps for successful implementation.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of districts in utilizing IXL, providing ongoing support and adjustments as necessary to meet their goals.
- Develop tailored resources and materials that address the specific needs of each district, enhancing their educational strategies.
- Stay updated on educational trends and best practices to provide relevant insights and recommendations to district leaders.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of professional development offerings.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in education or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a K-12 educator, with a focus on delivering professional development in educational environments.
- Experience in a school or district administrative role, or extensive experience in providing professional development to educational leaders.
- Demonstrated success in leading instructional initiatives or overseeing curriculum adoption within a school or district setting.
- Strong analytical abilities, with a knack for interpreting data to formulate effective implementation strategies.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the confidence to engage both educators and administrators effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; a vibrant and enthusiastic individual who can build rapport easily and foster a collaborative environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects efficiently from start to finish.
- A self-driven learner committed to leveraging technology to enhance educational experiences.
Nice to have
- Experience with strategic planning and data-driven decision-making in educational contexts.
- Familiarity with various educational technologies and their application within K-12 settings.
- Previous involvement in curriculum development or instructional design is a plus.
