IXL Learning is seeking a District Partnership Specialist to enhance our Professional Learning team, focusing specifically on the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. This position is centered on assisting school districts in the effective implementation of our personalized learning solutions, ensuring that these initiatives align with their educational objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with educators and district leaders, providing essential professional development and ongoing support to foster successful outcomes.

What you'll do

• Serve as a subject matter expert in the deployment of IXL solutions tailored for large and intricate school districts.
• Partner with district leadership to craft and implement a professional development strategy that meets their unique educational goals.
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including district administrators, school principals, and teachers, to ensure a seamless implementation process.
• Travel throughout the Hampton Roads area to deliver professional development sessions, engage with district and school leaders, and observe classroom practices, with travel expectations ranging from 40% to 60% of your time, including some overnight stays.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to cultivate and expand relationships with customers, particularly those districts that are piloting IXL or engaging in pre-sales discussions.
• Conduct dynamic live and virtual professional development sessions aimed at promoting the effective utilization of IXL resources.
• Analyze educational data to guide decision-making processes and inform future strategies for implementation.
• Provide ongoing support and resources to educators to ensure they are equipped to maximize the benefits of IXL solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of professional development initiatives on teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of professional learning offerings.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in education technology and instructional strategies to enhance professional development content.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in K-12 education, particularly in delivering professional development within educational environments.
• Experience as a school or district administrator, or significant experience in providing professional development to these groups is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in leading instructional initiatives or overseeing curriculum adoptions at the district or school level.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to interpret educational data and formulate actionable implementation plans.
• Exceptional presentation skills, with comfort in engaging both educators and administrative personnel.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities, characterized by a positive and dynamic approach that encourages collaboration.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, adept at managing multiple projects and tasks from start to finish.
• Self-driven and quick to adapt, with a strong commitment to leveraging technology to enhance educational experiences.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data analysis tools or educational technology platforms would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of educational standards and curriculum frameworks is a plus.
• Previous experience in a remote work environment is advantageous.
