We are seeking a contract Deal Desk Analyst to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position that will be critical to enhance company contract execution. In this role, you will ensure that all contracts in our queue are reviewed, structured, consistently evaluated, approved, and closed as quickly and efficiently as possible. What you'll do
Based on the core responsibilities outlined in the role description, you will review pricing and contract structure to ensure alignment with business, legal, and finance requirements. You will calculate margins on deals to ensure each opportunity is meeting gross margin targets. You will enforce best practices for the quoting process, pricing guidelines, and overall Deal Desk processes. You will escalate approvals to the appropriate business partners and functions for review and approval. You will help support sales with quote and order form creation, including making edits inside of the CPQ system and manually updating order forms. You will help ensure accuracy of internal documentation relating to standard operating procedures. Additional responsibilities include serving as the central point of contact for questions on contract terms, conditions, and pricing exceptions, analyzing historical deal data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement, collaborating with finance to reconcile booked revenue against committed contract values, partnering with legal to draft and revise standard contract language to reflect market practices, supporting ad hoc analyses related to deal performance, discount utilization, and compliance monitoring, and contributing to the maintenance of playbooks and documentation that govern the quote to cash lifecycle.
Requirements
The position requires candidates to have experience in a Revenue Operations role and experience in Salesforce/CRM. You must be able to be self-sufficient and detail-oriented, especially during crunch time, and able to collaborate with multiple functions. A willingness and eagerness to learn on the job and the ability to work and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment are essential. Strong Microsoft Office, GSuite, and Adobe skills are required. Because of operational and compliance needs, candidates must be based on the west coast / PST time zone with a preference for candidates located in the SF Bay area.
Nice to have qualifications include previous experience in Deal Desk, previous experience with email marketing, push, or SMS software, and previous experience with quoting (CPQ). This role is a contract-based engagement with an anticipated US hourly pay rate of $30.00-$35.00. The specific rate offered within this range will be determined by factors such as US work location, job-related skills, and experience.
