About the role
Sales Manager (Eastern Territory USA)
The Irca Group holds a prominent position in the global food ingredient sector, specializing in high quality outputs for bakery, pastry, and ice cream applications. The organization's history spans over a century, with foundational roots in Italy and operational scale that includes 23 production sites and a workforce exceeding 2000 people across Europe, the United States, and Vietnam. This extensive infrastructure supports a diverse portfolio designed to serve multiple customer segments.
The current portfolio encompasses core categories such as chocolate, compounds, chocolate decorations, sprinkles, creams, pastry mixes, gelato ingredients, nuts, and candied fruit. The recent integration of Kerry Sweet has expanded these offerings to include sweet particulates, chocolate confections, inclusions, variegates, and frozen fruit purees. This breadth allows the group to function as a comprehensive resource for the market. Distribution is managed through eight key brands, including IRCA, Dobla®, in2food, Via Degli Orsini, JoyGelato, RaviFruit, Cesarin, and Anastasi®, facilitating a "one-stop shop" approach. The objective is to provide innovative solutions for everyday and seasonal requirements across three primary channels: Gourmet, Food Manufacturing, and Consumer Product (Retail), under the banner "Extraordinary made simple".
The organization is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to own and develop the eastern territory of the United States. The successful candidate will be based in the New York and New Jersey region. The primary responsibility involves the promotion of the gourmet product line to regional distribution partners. Success in this role requires the ability to travel and engage directly with partners located throughout the eastern United States. The position holder will be tasked with developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and establishing strong, long-term customer relationships. Adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and BRC standards is mandatory. This includes maintaining current knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards to ensure full compliance in all sales activities. Management of an existing portfolio of customers will also be a central duty, requiring careful and strategic account management.
