About the role
You will own the end to end management of specific EMEA food service and industrial accounts, acting as a strategic partner to key customers while ensuring market relevant solutions are developed and implemented. You will translate complex product capabilities into clear commercial value, positioning our portfolio within premium segments and driving incremental growth. You will leverage consumer and shopper insights to craft compelling narratives that connect our ingredients to final consumer occasions, enhancing brand relevance and purchase intent. You will coordinate closely with R&D and Corporate Marketing to ensure local execution aligns with global brand standards and scientific product claims. You will monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing timely feedback to shape product roadmaps and go to market adjustments. You will manage promotional materials, digital content, and in-market activations to maximize impact at point of decision. You will act as the primary link between our technical sales force and corporate teams, ensuring consistent messaging and commercial alignment. You will own performance dashboards and key metrics, using data to refine strategies and demonstrate clear business impact.

What you'll do
Conduct in-depth analysis of EMEA market structures, category trends, and customer portfolio performance to identify white spaces and growth levers.
Develop tailored value propositions for strategic customers, aligning product features with specific operational, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Lead cross functional project initiatives with Sales, R&D, and Corporate Marketing to launch new solutions, test concepts, and scale successful pilots.
Create localized marketing materials, ranging of briefs for external agencies, to support national campaigns and regional trade programs.
Perform competitor benchmarking and pricing analysis to protect margin positions and strengthen commercial negotiation frameworks.
Coordinate field based customer visits, joint business planning sessions, and post sales reviews to reinforce partnership and trust.
Utilize digital collaboration tools to synchronize with global stakeholders, track project milestones, and document decisions in shared repositories.
Design and implement in store and on premise sampling programs, training sessions, and technical workshops to educate customers and end users.
Monitor regulatory landscapes and certification requirements across EMEA territories, ensuring all commercial activities remain compliant.
Translate technical product data sheets into accessible commercial stories that resonate with chefs, bakers, and production managers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and foodservice partners to secure shelf space and preferential treatment.
Own the end to end launch process for new ingredients, from initial hypothesis through to final performance review and learning capture.
Support the development of case studies and success stories that highlight ROI for customers and can be leveraged in external communications.
Provide regular market intelligence reports to corporate teams, highlighting emerging risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
You possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related discipline, with a strong academic record.
You bring a minimum of three years of experience in marketing, sales support, or commercial roles within the food, beverage, or ingredient industry.
You have demonstrated success in managing complex stakeholder environments, balancing inputs from sales, technical, and corporate teams.
You are fluent in English, both written and verbal, to enable seamless communication with international partners and clients.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced use of Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentation development.
You have a solid understanding of market research techniques, consumer segmentation, and basic statistical analysis to inform decision making.
You show strong project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
You are comfortable working within a matrix organization, navigating ambiguity, and taking initiative when processes are not fully defined.
You hold a valid driver's license and are willing to travel within the EMEA region as required, with flexibility to support both short and long term assignments.
Nice to have
Previous experience in the food, dairy, or confectionery sectors is highly valued, given the technical nature of the product portfolio.
Familiarity with ERP systems or experience interfacing with SAP modules is considered an advantage for managing order flows and forecasts.
Knowledge of additional European languages, such as French, German, or Italian, can enhance collaboration with local teams and customers.
Experience with digital marketing tools, content management systems, or social media analytics is appreciated for supporting modern campaigns.
Understanding of export logistics, customs procedures, and trade compliance within the EMEA region is viewed as beneficial for cross border initiatives.
Practical notes
This is a temporary full time position based in Gallarate, with a defined project duration and performance expectations.
Travel within the EMEA region is required, and candidates must be flexible regarding timing, including occasional evening or weekend engagements for key launches or customer meetings.
Candidates must comply with all visa and work permit requirements for the location of assignment, and any relocation support will be provided in accordance with company policy.
