What you'll do
- Orchestrate the intake and detailed analysis of Salesforce enhancement requests to define precise technical requirements.
- Engineer robust solutions utilizing Apex classes and Lightning Web Components (LWC) that adhere to secure cloud architecture best practices.
- Conduct rigorous reviews of system configurations to validate the integrity of validation rules, automation processes, and object structures.
- Manage the shipping of changes through robust deployment pipelines while enforcing strict version control protocols and standards.
- Partner with security teams to design and implement integrations for external databases and APIs, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements.
- Execute comprehensive testing of all interfaces to validate data integrity, performance benchmarks, and functionality within secure government environments.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and process flows that capture the complexity of intricate system changes and configurations.

Requirements
- You must hold an active secret clearance and a recent polygraph result specific to government employment.
- You must demonstrate proven ability in building solutions directly on the Salesforce platform using industry-standard practices.
- You must possess mastery of Apex programming language, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce for UI development.
- You must have advanced data modeling skills, including expertise in SOQL and SOSL queries across standard and custom objects.
- You must have hands-on experience creating automated processes using Salesforce Flow and other native automation tools.
- You must have experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs to manage integrations with external systems.
- You must apply Git version control and CI/CD pipelines to manage the build, test, and deployment lifecycle rigorously.
- You must be skilled in configuring security mechanisms such as roles, profiles, and permission sets to enforce access control.
- You must be capable of troubleshooting complex performance issues and bottlenecks within Salesforce environments.
- You must operate effectively within agile delivery cycles, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic setting.

Practical notes
This is a contract role based in Tysons, VA with a compensation rate of $140,000.00. The position requires the use of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end tasks and direct support for federal government clients.
