The Role
The Senior Marketing Manager, Americas will lead the development and execution of marketing strategy for assigned portfolio segments. This is a hands-on, commercially driven position requiring fluency in both strategy and implementation. You will translate market insights and customer needs into coherent growth plans, innovation priorities, and compelling customer narratives.
You will work closely with Sales, Culinary, Product Management, Business Development, R&D, and Communications. Your responsibilities will include building category plans, shaping the innovation pipeline, developing customer campaigns, and creating sales tools that drive adoption and execution. You will be expected to work across Food Manufacturing, Chains, Distribution, and In-Store Bakery channels.
Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong cross-functional influence, and the ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced environment. You will bring structure to strategic challenges and demonstrate a clear impact on revenue growth. This position requires onsite presence at our Chicago office three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the marketing strategy and annual plans for assigned customer segments and categories in the Americas region.
- Lead end-to-end campaign development, from insight generation to execution and performance measurement.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Development teams to define and prioritize key customer engagements and strategic accounts plans.
- Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to define innovation requirements and validate new product concepts with customers.
- Create high-impact sales tools, including presentations, proposals, and training materials, to support commercial teams.
- Use market data and customer feedback to refine positioning, messaging, and portfolio strategies.
- Work with Communications to ensure consistent brand storytelling and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Define and track commercial KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness and inform decision-making.
- Represent IRCA Group in key customer meetings and strategic forums, serving as a trusted advisor.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a marketing manager or senior marketer within the food industry, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and own results in a matrixed organization.
- Strong strategic thinking and excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Operations.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the food ingredient sector.
- Prior exposure to chocolate, dairy, or specialty ingredients categories.
- Familiarity with the regulatory and commercial dynamics of the U.S. food market.
