What you'll do
- Process loan transactions and maintain accurate records in the servicing system for fund clients.
- Reconcile loan accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure data integrity across portfolios.
- Prepare and review loan-related reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with fund administrators and clients to resolve loan servicing inquiries.
- Monitor loan covenant compliance and flag any breaches for escalation to senior officers.
- Update loan documentation and maintain organized files for each fund account.
- Support the onboarding of new loan facilities by gathering required client information.
- Perform quality checks on loan data entries to minimize errors in reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual loan servicing statements.
- Communicate with borrowers and agents to verify outstanding balances and payment schedules.
- Review loan interest calculations and confirm accuracy before submission to the operations team.
- Track loan repayment schedules and notify the team of upcoming maturities or renewal dates.
- Collaborate with the credit analysis team to review loan applications and supporting documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in loan servicing, fund administration, or a similar financial operations role.
- Strong understanding of loan accounting principles and the ability to apply them in a servicing context.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheet applications for data analysis and reconciliation tasks.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a consistent record of producing accurate work products.
- Ability to manage multiple loan accounts simultaneously while meeting established internal and external deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Willingness to work within a structured process-driven environment and follow established procedures without direct supervision.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and the ability to prepare accurate period-end deliverables.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment with a focus on meeting service level agreements.
