The Associate Manager
Investor Services at Iq Eq is responsible for managing complex client issues within the Investor Services function for a diverse range of AIF fund structures. In this capacity, you will supervise the daily activities of Investor Services Officers to guarantee operational smoothness and uphold the highest level of client expectations. A critical component of this role involves coaching junior team members and fostering their professional development within the investor services domain. You will ensure strict adherence to company policies, internal procedures, and relevant regulatory standards while actively driving service excellence across the entire investor lifecycle. This position requires proactive communication and collaboration with stakeholders to resolve intricate issues efficiently. The role emphasizes the protection of client information and the integrity of data management practices. Ultimately, you will act as a key contributor to the strategic objectives of the Investor Services division.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Execute oversight of investor services activities including customer due diligence, subscriptions, redemptions, share transfers, capital calls, trade orders, settlements, and investor reporting for both OE and CE structures.
- Coach and guide Investor Services Officers by reviewing their deliverables and actively contributing to their performance development and career progression.
- Ensure all client reporting and documentation strictly align with Iq Eq policies, local regulations, FATCA, and CRS obligations to maintain compliance.
- Communicate daily with clients and investors to resolve issues proactively and identify potential risks before they escalate into more significant problems.
- Collaborate with internal departments on intricate matters to secure necessary compliance approvals and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Drive process efficiency improvements while ensuring the protection of sensitive information in strict alignment with the ISMS framework.
- Provide full oversight of the investor services lifecycle to ensure operational smoothness and meet client expectations consistently.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Financial Services Commission regulations concerning OE and CE fund structures.
- Utilize advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, to manage complex documentation and data analysis tasks.
- Work with a working familiarity with Microgen to support operational workflows and service delivery.
Requirements
- Hold a university degree or be a fully qualified member of ACCA or ICSA.
- Possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a comparable role within the financial services sector.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Financial Services Commission regulations specific to OE and CE fund structures.
- Exhibit proficiency in using MS Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Word and Excel for professional tasks.
- Maintain a working familiarity with Microgen software to effectively support operational duties.
- Understand basic accounting principles to ensure accurate interpretation of financial data and reports.
- Communicate fluently in English to interact effectively with clients, investors, and internal teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, local regulations, FATCA, and CRS obligations in all activities.
- Operate in alignment with the ISMS framework to safeguard sensitive information and data integrity.
