About the role
Iq Eq is seeking an Officer 3 to join its Loan Services team based in Pasig City. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration and processing of loan-related operations for a diverse range of institutional and corporate clients. The Officer 3 will work closely with team members to ensure that all loan servicing activities are carried out accurately and within established timelines. The position requires a disciplined approach to following internal procedures and regulatory guidelines while contributing to the overall efficiency of the loan services function. The Officer 3 will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and ensuring that service level agreements are met consistently.

What you'll do
Process loan account openings and maintain accurate records in the system on a daily basis
Review loan documentation submitted by borrowers to verify completeness and compliance with internal standards
Coordinate with borrowers and internal departments to resolve outstanding loan items and address queries
Prepare and generate loan servicing reports for management review, analysis, and periodic decision-making
Monitor loan repayment schedules carefully and flag overdue accounts for escalation to the appropriate team
Assist in the reconciliation of loan accounts and related subsidiary ledgers to ensure accuracy
Support the team in handling loan modifications, renewals, extensions, and other related account adjustments
Communicate with external parties and counterparties to gather required information for ongoing loan processing
Maintain organized physical and digital files and records for all active and closed loan accounts
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute constructive ideas to process improvement discussions
Perform other assigned duties as needed by the supervisor or team lead within the department
Ensure all loan service activities align with company policies and all applicable regulatory requirements
Assist in the preparation of loan-related correspondence and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to the continuous improvement of loan servicing processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field from a recognized institution
At least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in loan operations or financial services environment
Strong understanding of loan processing workflows and fundamental accounting principles and practices
Demonstrated proficiency in using spreadsheet applications and loan management systems for daily tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrated in the English language for professional settings
Ability to work independently and consistently meet recurring deadlines in a collaborative team setting
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all transactional and data work
Willingness to follow established procedures and adapt to process changes as business needs evolve
Nice to have
Prior experience working in a fund administration or asset servicing environment within the financial sector
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to lending and loan servicing operations
Knowledge of local banking practices and financial industry standards specific to the Philippines market
Experience with data entry and record management in a high-volume, time-sensitive operational setting
Comfort with working under pressure and managing multiple loan files simultaneously during peak periods

Loan management or servicing software platforms commonly used in financial operations and administration
General ledger and accounting systems for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting reconciliations

Internal compliance and workflow tracking tools commonly used by the organization for task management

The position is based in the Pasig City office and requires regular on-site presence during working hours
Standard working hours apply, with occasional overtime expected during peak processing periods and month-end close
The role reports directly to a team lead or supervisor within the Loan Services group at Iq Eq
