Overview
This senior technical sales position exists to support a rapidly growing organization by providing technical depth on European fund structures, regulatory frameworks, and marketing environments. The role guides U.S. clients and sales directors, builds and maintains professional networks, and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations. It combines technical insight with commercial acumen to expand client engagement and achieve defined sales targets while strengthening relationships across key fund segments.
What you'll do
- Shape the European fund services offering, go-to-market strategy, and sales plan for U.S. fund managers.
- Develop, deliver, and monitor sales plans to drive new business opportunities and meet revenue growth targets.
- Build and maintain feeder networks, with a focus on U.S.-based connections that have strong European links to expand market reach.
- Accompany sales and client directors to pitches and meetings, offering expertise on European fund and regulatory matters.
- Ensure compliance with AIFMD and other regulations while advising clients on European fund structures.
- Translate complex fund environments into clear guidance for private equity, real estate, debt, and hedge fund stakeholders.
- Demonstrate integrity, credibility, and commitment to organizational values to inspire and influence others.
- Utilize fluent English communication along with strong budgeting, IT, and reporting skills to deliver results.

- The salary for this position is dependent on experience and location, in the range of $150,000 to $180,000.
Requirements
- Bring strong sales and negotiation skills backed by at least five years of senior experience in the Alternatives sector.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of European fund domiciles, structures, and regulatory frameworks, particularly AIFMD.
- Show deep understanding of private equity, real estate, debt, and hedge fund environments to advise and influence effectively.
- Embody integrity, credibility, and commitment to organizational values while inspiring and motivating others with initiative and drive.
- Be fluent in English and equipped with excellent communication, IT, budgeting, and reporting skills.
