What you will do

Guide the execution of BCO tasks, confirming adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. You will ensure the quality of client due diligence processes, both during periodic compliance reviews and in onboarding and offboarding activities, in accordance with Wwft and Wtt requirements. You will design first-line controls, converting legal and regulatory obligations into actionable operational steps. You will set goals for BCO activities, monitor performance, and escalate non-conformities and behavioral issues to the Head of Business Compliance. You will act as the functional expert for the BCO team, advising on complex matters and promoting consistent compliance practices. You will maintain coordination with the second-line Risk & Compliance department, tracking Service Entity Risk Rating assessments, improvement plans, and Group Reputational Risk Committee requirements. You will oversee onboarding and offboarding flows, ensuring procedures meet regulatory expectations and quality standards. You will confirm that action points from reviews are followed up and closed.

Requirements

You hold a Master's degree in Dutch law, providing a solid academic and legal foundation for compliance oversight. You possess in-depth knowledge of anti-money laundering, data privacy laws, industry-specific regulations, and the rules under Wwft and Wtt. You have at least 5 years of compliance-related experience in financial services and 10 years of overall professional work experience. You preferably bring knowledge of or experience in the global investor services industry, enhancing your ability to manage complex compliance requirements. You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, enabling clear collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
