Overview
This position is responsible for owning the end-to-end financial planning cycle for the EMEA region. The focus is on protecting revenue, improving profitability, and driving business performance through rigorous analysis and decision support.
Key responsibilities
You will design intake workflows that standardize data requests and clarify ownership across finance, commercial, and operational teams. You will construct robust financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate strategic options and long-term growth levers. Coordinating with senior stakeholders, you will align forecasts with capacity, operational changes, and market conditions. You will synthesize complex metrics into concise executive narratives for leadership forums and board-level audiences. Accounting expertise, advanced Excel financial modeling, and proficiency with systems such as Workday Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Power BI, and Sharperlight will guide decision frameworks. You will establish review routines that surface variances early, enabling timely corrective measures and ongoing performance optimization. You will shape future state targets by collaborating with commercial teams on pipeline, pricing, and customer mix decisions. Data integrity will be championed through validation of system inputs and ensuring reporting consistency across platforms.
What you will need to succeed
You hold a professional accounting credential such as CIMA, ACA, or ACCA, with a strong grounding in practice. You bring a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering. You apply advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques to forecast, plan, and deliver data-driven insights. You have hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as Power BI, Workday Adaptive Planning, Sharperlight, NetSuite, or similar reporting systems. You connect financial performance to business drivers while navigating multi-currency reporting and global regulatory considerations. You communicate complex information clearly, influencing senior management and board-level stakeholders under tight timelines.
