Position Overview
This position is entrusted with the validation of fund accounting outputs and the enforcement of rigorous quality controls for financial statements. Acting as a technical reviewer, the role ensures adherence to established standards and precision within complex client deliverables. The primary focus is on upholding accounting integrity and consistency across all reporting workflows, serving as a key resource for technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough examinations of financial statements and NAV computations to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Applying relevant accounting frameworks and regulatory mandates during detailed assessments.
- Maintaining specialized knowledge of client-specific requirements and their unique reporting expectations.
- Driving process improvement by identifying operational gaps and recommending specific enhancements.
- Offering foundational technical direction to accounting preparers for timely issue resolution.
- Collaborating with fund accounting groups to reconcile discrepancies in capital calls and distribution calculations.
- Ensuring the reliability of fund books and records through systematic verification protocols.
- Supporting strategic partner initiatives aimed at strengthening controls and operational efficiency.

Professional Profile
Candidates must hold a degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, along with a CPA license or its equivalent. A minimum of five years of professional experience is required, with at least three years concentrated in fund accounting, financial reporting, or external audit environments involving complex portfolios. Demonstrated proficiency in financial statement analysis is essential, alongside a deep understanding of accounting standards such as IFRS or GAAP and associated regulatory landscapes. Expertise in assessing capital call and distribution mechanics, as well as detailed fund record integrity, is required.
