This role represents a mid-level accounting position dedicated to providing comprehensive fund accounting services with a high degree of autonomy. The position holder will be responsible for both low and medium complexity funds, concentrating on essential accounting procedures and maintaining consistent communication within the cluster framework. Success in this role requires the independent execution of established protocols while upholding the highest standards of quality and timely delivery.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
You will be tasked with the preparation of financial statements, NAV reports, and other essential deliverables. All outputs must strictly conform to prescribed guidelines, emphasizing accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established standards and detailed checklists. This duty forms the core of the operational workflow.
Further responsibilities include the application of relevant accounting standards and requirements. You will maintain precise fund books and records, perform daily bookkeeping activities, and provide support for periodic financial reporting initiatives. Processing routine transactions is a key function, covering capital calls, distributions, and the generation of investor notices. These activities must be conducted in strict accordance with quality control procedures and risk management protocols.
A critical component of the position involves identifying and escalating potential operational risks. You will conduct self-reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and actively support the documentation and compliance of standard operating procedures (SOPs). The role also requires a commitment to continuous learning, including building knowledge of client-specific requirements and broader industry practices. You will track work progress through timesheets, engage in training and process improvement initiatives, and perform additional duties as necessary to support evolving business demands.

About the Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this position, you must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. also, you should bring a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or a similar capacity.
You must possess a strong and thorough understanding of accounting principles and fund structures. This includes the ability to independently manage moderately complex financial data and accounting processes with precision. Proficiency in accounting systems and tools is essential, with a specific requirement for intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
