What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on operational technology systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
• Develop and implement security strategies tailored to the unique needs of industrial environments, ensuring the protection of critical assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and engineering, to integrate security measures into existing operational processes.
• Monitor and analyze security incidents, providing timely responses and remediation strategies to mitigate risks.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in industrial cyber security, applying this knowledge to enhance security protocols.
• Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.
• Provide training and awareness programs for staff on security best practices, fostering a culture of security within the organization.
• Assist in the development of incident response plans and participate in drills to test the effectiveness of these plans.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment with security requirements and best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, outlining security risks and recommended actions.
• Participate in the design and implementation of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Support the continuous improvement of the security framework, ensuring it evolves with emerging threats and technological advancements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on operational technology or industrial control systems.
• Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks and standards relevant to industrial environments.
• Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing security policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols such as SCADA, DCS, and PLC systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GICSP are highly desirable.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response methodologies.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
