What you'll do

• Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific needs of mission personnel, ensuring alignment with operational objectives and best practices.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and simulations to enhance the skills and knowledge of personnel in various operational scenarios.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes and meet evolving mission requirements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate the latest intelligence methodologies and technologies into training curricula.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees, fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages growth and development.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements in technology, and changes in operational protocols to ensure training remains relevant and effective.
• Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and digital resources, to support ongoing education and reference.
• Facilitate after-action reviews and debriefs to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement, ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future training initiatives.
• Coordinate with leadership to identify training needs and priorities, aligning training efforts with organizational goals and mission readiness.
• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to training and operational readiness.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support broader organizational initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Document training activities and maintain records to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this position.
• A minimum of five years of experience in military or intelligence operations, with a focus on training and development.
• Proven experience in instructional design and training delivery, preferably in a mission-critical environment.
• Strong understanding of intelligence community operations, methodologies, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of individuals.
• Demonstrated ability to assess training needs and develop effective training solutions.
• Proficiency in using training technologies and tools, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and simulation software.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced training methodologies, such as experiential learning or blended learning approaches.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a training context.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in the field of training and development, such as virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR).
• Relevant certifications in training, instructional design, or related fields (e.g., ATD, CPTD).
