Bamboohr is looking for an Instructional System Designer to join their growing team based in Universal City, Texas. What you'll do
Design and develop instructional materials that align with established learning objectives and performance standards.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify training needs and define measurable learning outcomes for each initiative.
Create storyboards, scripts, and visual layouts that guide the production of educational content across multiple formats.
Evaluate existing training programs and recommend improvements based on learner feedback and performance data.
Apply established instructional design models and frameworks to structure courses and modules effectively.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
Conduct research on best practices in adult learning theory and apply findings to program design.
Coordinate with graphic designers, developers, and media specialists to produce polished final deliverables.
Analyze learner assessment results to measure the effectiveness of instructional interventions and adjust accordingly.
Document all design decisions, processes, and revisions in a clear and organized manner for team reference.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of all learning resources, templates, and design standards used across the organization.
Stay current with emerging trends in instructional design and educational technology to continuously improve program quality.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, instructional technology, or a closely related field is required.
Proven experience designing and developing instructional content in a professional or academic setting is necessary.
Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional strategies, and various assessment methodologies is essential for this role.
Proficiency with authoring tools and learning management systems used in content development and delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage competing priorities and consistently deliver high-quality work under tight project timelines.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools for tracking design workflows and milestones.
Familiarity with multimedia production tools and various e-learning platforms is expected and valued.
